The Body Electric.

TODAY WAS BEAUTIFUL. Beautiful. I spent most of it with my dad, deep in nature. We took a meandering motorcycle ride through the backroads of Jordan Lake (little land bridges: water still and reflective on both sides), and stopped to…

Old entries, old emails. God. I just apologized to Jason for how much of a wife I am to him over email: like a stereotypical, shrewish wife. I don’t think I’m like that at all in person– what he comes…

Getting Quinnie's leg cast with Erin... This poor girl is such a trooper. Her reward (and our next stop): doughnuts and drugs.

Enjoying spring at the school playground... The sandbox is just for lower grades, and Addie lit up when she saw it again. As she dug, she told me about the hours she spent building castles or looking for marbles with her friends. "I really miss kindergarten," Addie sighed.
